It's amazing what a new pair of shoes and freshly painted nails will do for a little girl who REFUSED to go to preschool this year. As much as I hesitated buying these LOUD, OBNOXIOUS, NOT CHEAP shoes, they made her day, and she was SO happy to go to school today!
Calvyn is going to the same preshcool with Halle. It was raining like crazy today, but I was able to get this quick picture in front of the "yellow door".
If you notice she has a band-aid on her chin. She missed the last step coming out of the house, and fell HARD! This next picture is her taking her time walking down the stairs...and with a little photo editing, it is a pretty cute picture!
Skyler's first day back to school was in her words, "THE BEST DAY EVER!!" (I've been waiting to hear that out of her mouth for 5 yrs now!). She got the BEST teacher in her opinion. I can't believe she is in 4th grade...time flies!
She's the tallest girl in her class again. She's just about taller then the boys too!
If you can't tell by the expression on her face in this last picture...she is DONE with me taking pictures of her!
Now let the fun begin of:
fighting them to get up in the morning, doing homework, going to bed on time, doing hair, packing lunches, and so on...

Cute! Adorable! Your girls are so cute! My daughter is the tallest in her class too! It sure makes them stand out doesn't it? I told her that everyone would catch up in about 5 years =) I wish I had that problem!
Your girls are so cute, I love the picture of Halle going down the stairs. I can't believe that Skyler is in 4th grade! Wow! Time is flying.
Oh how I do love those girls. Skyler looks so grown up. They are beautiful.
I can not believe how much they have changed since we saw them last. They look cuter than ever, I am glad they had a good first day of school. can't wait to see you in less than two weeks!
Look how cute they are. Yes my girls had to have those shoes also. I guess whatever makes them happy right? Glad they had a good first day!!
OK - Skylers skirt reminds me of when we were in Jr. High and had to go serve at the high school - you all got to wear the cute ruffle dresses and I wore some mommy pant suit - I think it was Sharee's? So you KNOW I bought a dress like that for Keni!!! LOVE IT! ;)
So Ali, is that a bad thing you had to wear my pantsuit. ha ha It must have been a winner. So sorry.
Sharee
